Adoption Training Support
Adopting a dog can be a fantastic journey and they will become wonderful addition to your family.
Coming into a new home and meeting new people can be very overwhelming for any dog. The best way to help your family and your new dog adjust to life together is by doing some training together.
We strongly suggest that all our adopters do some training sessions with their new dog. This can help save heartaches and frustration for your family and your dog when you both don't understand each other.
Not understanding your dog can lead to destructive behaviours and misery for everyone.
Training sessions now will save you from frustration in the future!

Training with your dog will help you bond and understand each other
CAS members have referred many adopters and their new dogs to Ricky to help them adjust. Every dog he has seen has never been given up or returned because of bad behaviour.
Ricky Yeo of The Dog Listener Consultancy has helped so many families adjust to their new dog. Ricky is also founder and president Action for Singapore Dogs, a dog rescue and welfare organisation.
Please read about how Ricky helped the beautiful "Julie", a long term shelter dog adjust to her new adopted life.
Training classes are either 1.5 hour sessions for six weeks, or home-based programmes with three 2 hour sessions.
"Thanks so much for your past referrals, it has been very fulfilling helping both the dogs and owners achieve harmony and bond and I find that that reduces the probability of abandonment or returns significantly." Ricky Yeo - The Dog Listener Consultant
