He has since undergone surgery at VES and is now recuperating at Animal World Veterinary Clinic. We hope Xixi will regain full mobility in his leg eventually. Thank you for helping a street dog in need. |

Background:
Xixi is a street dog in Punggol. Due to the swift development in the area, we have been facing the challenges of several hit and run cases. We plead with drivers to go slow in areas where the street dogs are residing. The streets are their only home. Xixi was hit by a car and sustained a broken front paw as well as a dislocated elbow.
His kind feeder, Alice, who cares for the dogs in the area notified us of his plight. Xixi and the other dogs in Punggol have all been sterilised except for two that elude us. Sadly, Xixi was not himself after the accident. It is also not easy to recapture sterilised dogs. Thankfully, with patience, time and the perfect location, Alice and Marcus managed to get hold of Xixi.
Xixi requires a specialist surgeon to fix his broken paw and dislocated elbow. The estimated cost of surgery and post operation recovery is $8000. This is a hefty sum but we could not simply let Xixi struggle with his injuries.

Do note that should funds raised exceed the final medical bill, the surplus will be utilised for animals under our community care program that need assistance.
