Volunteering for a Cause
CAS is volunteer-run and we are always looking for committed, hands-on individuals to support our daily shelter operations.
Volunteer work is focused on weekday mornings (8:30am–10:00am) and involves essential maintenance tasks such as cleaning shelter areas, washing kennels, and assisting with dog care routines including bathing and walking where required. Tasks vary depending on daily needs.
We welcome volunteers aged 16 and above, as well as interns and those completing VIA hours. All volunteer participation is by scheduled arrangement only.
Please note: we are unable to accept walk-ins, and we do not house cats on-site.
Volunteers play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the dogs in our care, helping us continue our work in animal welfare and TNRM efforts.

Note: Hi everyone, we are currently exploring a move to a new location and will keep you updated on whether we will still require volunteer support during and after the transition. We will be pausing volunteer intake until we are settled in.
Thank you for your continued kindness and support.
