At 11 years old, Harry should be enjoying his golden years in the comfort of a loving home.
Harry was rescued from the streets of Tuas as a puppy and was fortunate enough to be adopted. Sadly, life didn't turn out the way anyone had hoped. After an incident where he bit a visitor, Harry lost the only home he had ever known and was returned to the shelter. Today, Harry is a handsome senior gentleman who finds comfort only with the volunteers he knows and trusts. New people can be overwhelming for him, and he needs time, patience, and understanding before he feels safe. Once you earn his trust, you'll discover a charming, loyal boy with so much love to give. Years in the shelter have made it even harder for Harry to adjust to unfamiliar faces. While he may never be the dog who greets every stranger with a wagging tail, he deserves kindness, security, and people who accept him for who he is. Not every rescue story is straightforward. Some dogs carry scars that require lifelong management rather than quick fixes. Harry is one of them. Until the right person comes along or if that day never comes, we hope Harry will continue to have the care, medical support, and familiar faces that make him feel safe. What does sponsorship cover?
Sponsorship helps cover food, including special diets, healthcare such as vet visits, worming, flea and tick treatment, heartworm preventative and also goes towards any adoption costs, transportation and rehabilitation training if needed. |
Rescue, Restore, Re-Home
Our main aim once we rescue an animal is to help it find it's forever home. They enter into our health and rehabilitation program. They learn basic commands, walking as well as learning to socialise and play. We also work on common behavioural issues. |
Can I see my sponsored dog?
As a Sponsor, we'd love you to spend time with them and show them how good people can be. Treats, toys, walks, they will love it. Please note all visits are by appt only. |

Rather than restrict love, we believe having more people that care, gives the animals a better chance at having a new life. We treat all animals in our care equally whether sponsored or not. Your gift is used to help all the dogs and cats including the one you have chosen to sponsor.
