CAS STREET DOGS

STRAY FEEDING
We started off as stray feeders in just one small area. A single construction site. As we went there week after week to make sure the dogs could sleep with full bellies, we grew to know them. And as we grew to know them, we also grew to love them.

FIFTY DOGS AND CATS
The years passed and as we worked towards driver's licenses and cars, our feeding route expanded. We found, trapped, sterilised, released, and fed more dogs, more cats. Over our four years of feeding, we have come to care for a total of about 50 dogs and cats.

All we can do now is give the street dogs and cats we care for a fighting chance.

DEVELOPMENT
But soon we may not longer get to walk those rocky roads to feed them. Like most fringe areas in Singapore, our particular feeding area has been scheduled for development. And once the development date rolls around, our fifty friends will face the very real threat of getting culled.

Urban development is a harsh, unavoidable fate for many street animals in Singapore. While many AWGs in Singapore believe in trap-neuter-release programmes - ourselves at CAS included - these programmes have yet to be implemented by official bodies. Street dogs and cats still multiply beyond the efforts of the most dedicated AWGs and feeders.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We are working at moving these dogs off the streets and into our Adoption Centre. It's a process that takes time and we have limited space in our centre.

SPONSOR A STREET DOG
You can help by sponsoring dogs on the streets. This helps provide good quality food, which we feed daily. It helps provide preventative treatment like worming, flea and tick treatment and attend to any injuries and illnesses they face.

SPONSOR A KENNEL SPACE
Once we have room in our centre, we assess which dogs are most at risk and bring them in. Sponsoring a kennel space helps keep our adoption centre operational.

SPONSOR AN ADOPTION CENTRE DOG
Sponsoring an adoption centre dog helps them on the path to adoption.
They then go through a medical and rehab process. Most go through heart worm treatment which unfortunately takes weeks/months to recover from and any rehab training needs to be halted until they are well again. Once they are in good health, we work on getting them ready for a new family.

SPONSOR STREET DOGS
Sponsorship helps cover food, including special diets, healthcare such as vet visits, worming, flea and tick treatment and other preventative treatment.

SPONSOR A KENNEL SPACE
This primarily covers, rent, utilities and shelter maintenance. Have it named after your company, team, school, or family
