MISSION & FOCUS
CAS is committed to humane Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) programmes and responsible street animal population management in Singapore. Through sterilisation, medical care, feeding management, monitoring, and community engagement, we aim to improve the welfare of street dogs and cats while promoting compassionate and sustainable coexistence between animals and the communities around them. We also continue to advocate for practical, ethical, and humane animal welfare policies, alongside public education on responsible community care and ownership.
Alongside our TNRM efforts, we provide medical treatment, rehabilitation, and support for injured, abandoned, elderly, and vulnerable animals. Adoption remains an important part of our work, and we strive to find safe, loving, and responsible homes for animals that are suitable for rehoming. We also work closely with fosterers, caregivers, and rescue partners to strengthen support networks that help animals recover, socialise, and transition into stable environments.
As our shelter dogs grow older, many now require increased medical attention, mobility support, and specialised daily care. We remain fully committed to caring for the elderly and special-needs dogs already under our responsibility, ensuring they continue to live with dignity, comfort, and compassion throughout their remaining years. Moving forward, our long-term focus is to responsibly balance this ongoing commitment to our senior dogs while progressively strengthening our TNRM, medical outreach, and community-based street animal management efforts in a sustainable and transparent way.
