As a non-profit organisation run by solely by volunteers, Causes for Animals (Singapore) relies heavily on the kindness of strangers to get by. We do our best to fund raise to meet our rent and expenses each month, but sometimes life throws us into unexpected situations. Sponsorship helps us upkeep the facility and provide first class care for the animals we house. Read about our rescue of dogs from a shelter that was closing down. Why should I sponsor a kennel? Sponsoring a full kennel provides much needed shelter for our Singapore Animals. This helps us cover Rent, Utilities and upkeep of the kennels. One kennel can house 3 - 5 dogs, depending on how well the pack gets along with itself. Sponsoring a kennel entitles you to ownership of it. You are free to visit the animals within and take them out (with supervision) and to decorate the kennel as you see fit. Decorate the kennel? Yes, we allow frames to be put up on the walls or toys to be placed in the kennel as long as they are safe for the dogs. How much does it cost to sponsor a kennel? It costs $300 per month through to $3,600 per year. Can I donate a smaller sum to contribute to the kennel sponsorships? Yes, you can set up a smaller sum of donation starting from $50 a month for kennel sponsorship. We don't re-decorate for partial sponsorships, but we welcome mementos, photos, or something small to put up in the kennel Types of Sponsorship Individuals

So does Kennel Sponsorship sponsor the animals as well? While you take ownership of the kennel space, which provides shelter for the animals, each animal needs their own individual sponsorship to help cover, food, special diets, Vet visits, medicine, Pest control, rehabilitation training, transportation and adoption costs. Please see here for more details. Your Kennel will house 3-5 animals. You may not always have the same animals housed in the kennel as we focus on getting them adopted into permanent homes. Visits are by appointment only. What happens to the other kennels not sponsored? The facility runs as a whole. Kennel sponsorship helps us keep it going. Without it, we will not be able to make ends meet. Even if a kennel space is not sponsored, the animals in it still get the same care as all other animals at CAS. Where are the kennels? We are located in 59 Sungei Tengah Rd. Visits to the CAS Adoption Centre are by appointment only so please email [email protected]. How many kennels are there? We have 15 kennels. How often do I get to visit? All CAS volunteers hold day jobs, so appointments to visit will be scheduled according to when we can be present at the shelter. Will my sponsored kennel be used for long-term boarding? We do not provide long-term boarding at the shelter. All our animals are on short term stays and are up for adoption. How can I make payment? We accept bank transfers, cheques, and PayPal. Yes, you can set up a standing order with your bank or with PayPal to have the sum deposited to us monthly. You need to instruct your bank to set up a standing order to us. All animals at the CAS Adoption Centre are fed a nutritious daily diet, formulated to avoid formation of any allergies or stomach issues. However they will appreciate treats! Check with us if there are any dietary issues, but feel free to buy them healthy treats once a while. Can I sponsor more than one kennel? What's better than a kennel full of happy dogs?
